Needing Nita
The Serve and Protect Series
By Nora Wilson
This is a (currently) free Novella on Amazon and I recommend that you download it.
If you are like me you hesitate with a series. I always check to see if all the books in the series are out. I don't like to wait. And I always worry that I will be sucked into a bad series that I can't escape from.
This particular book is a Novella so it is short which I like because I get sucked in, so sometimes I need something that won't take long. However, just because it is short does not mean it's not well developed. I really felt like I knew the characters and was invested in them.
This is a good lead in to the Serve and Protect series. After reading this the first time I purchased the rest of the books in the series and thoroughly enjoyed them as well (Saving Grace is probably my favorite). They are full length so this book is a good intro to gauge whether you will enjoy those.
Just a note, all the books in the Serve and Protect Series are stand alone. I actually read them out of order the first time. Purely by accident. While there is character overlap there weren't any major spoilers.
Unfortunately, now that I reread this one now I am going to have to reread the others. ~Sigh~ So many books so little time.
